Speak directly with the people your organisation impacts.

We run structured surveys and open-ended interviews on WhatsApp and other messaging apps that people use every day. Answers are validated as they come in, and AI handles the follow-ups as a skilled interviewer would. In 40+ languages, in voice or text.

The gap

Evaluating impact and making well-informed decisions depends on rich data from the people you affect. That data is hard to get.

01

People are hard to reach

Language, literacy and distance keep many of the people you want to hear from out of reach.

02

Surveys leave gaps

Surveys collect clean, structured data in theory. In practice, people quit, skim, misunderstand questions or give answers that don't quite make sense.

03

Conversation is expensive

Real conversation gets you depth, in person, in the field, by phone or in groups. It works. But it costs time, money and just can't reach everyone, all the time.

Fieldloop addresses all three: a conversation where people already are online, with structured data capture, validation and dynamic follow-ups that produce rich data at scale.

What we do

Reach, quality and depth. An accurate voice from the ground.

Reach

Meet people where they are

Conversations happen on WhatsApp and other messaging apps people already use every day. No installs, no login. Part of people's routines.

Quality

Structured data you can trust

AI-led probing clarifies ambiguous answers, validates responses against the formats your regulator or framework requires, and asks the right follow-up. The result is only high quality survey data.

Depth

Interviews at scale

Open-ended questions with dynamic follow-ups generate the richness of a semi-structured interview, across hundreds of people at once.

Voice and language

No barriers

Reply by voice note or text in 40+ languages. Voice notes let people express themselves more extensively, with 2.8× longer replies on average.

Data quality at the source

Every answer is validated during conversation.

Data quality is ensured at the moment of collection. So rather than cleaning a spreadsheet afterwards, every answer is checked, interpreted and structured live, mid-interview.

01

Re-asks when a question is misinterpreted

What are your main sources of income?
About 300,000 pesos last year.
Thank you. And which activities or products bring that in: crops, livestock, something else?
Mostly coffee, and some milk from the cows.

The respondent reported their income, not a source. Fieldloop stores the figure so it isn't asked again, then rephrases the original question.

02

Maps free-text answers to pre-defined options

How did you first hear about the project?project staff · neighbours · local government
A local official came by and told us about it.

Natural replies are interpreted live and mapped to pre-defined options. If not, we follow up.

03

Catches values that can't be right

What year were you born?
1066
That would make you over 900 years old. What year were you born?
Sorry, I mistyped. 1996.

Fieldloop checks every answer against standard and custom data constraints, asking for clarification when something doesn't fit.

Structured output

Every conversation results in a clean, structured record.

Validated answers map straight to the fields you define, ready to export as CSV or Excel, or feed directly into your reporting format.

Beyond surveys

Interview depth, at the scale of a survey.

Beyond structured data capture, Fieldloop draws out rich qualitative data. It follows up on previous answers to understand the reality on the ground, tracing the chain from output to outcome to impact to understand what has actually changed, at the same scale as a survey.

  1. Output

“There's paid work now, conservation work in the forest.”

    Paid conservation jobs created
  2. Outcome

“Five days clearing firebreaks, at 250 pesos a day.”

Worked five days, 250 pesos a day
  3. Impact

“I finally took my daughter to the check-ups the clinic had asked for.”

    Daughter's overdue check-ups done

From answers to evidence

We don't just collect data. We help you make sense of it.
